The Autumn House Fundraiser is set for Saturday, February 1st at the Gull Lake Community Hall with a bar, supper catered by Louie D's, a silent auction, and great music to support a great cause.
Samantha Shackleton, administrator at the Autumn House Independent Living Facility in Gull Lake, noted that the event should run from 5:00 P.M until around midnight.
"We're going to have a fundraiser on February 1st," explained Shackleton. "I really hope that people can come out and join us for a night of fun and a chance to meet Tim Hus."
Doors open at 5:00 p.m. while supper begins around 6:00 p.m. and Tim Hus will hit the stage at 7:30 p.m. and all proceeds will go towards a much-needed air conditioning upgrade.
"New air conditioning would keep my staff and the residents comfortable during the summertime," she added. "With our current AC, we have to have a hose running water to it if it gets above +25, which kind of wracks up our bills."
Tickets are available for $50 each at the Town of Gull Lake office, the Autumn House Independent Living Facility, Gull Lake's Innovation Federal Credit Union, and Pharmasave in Swift Current.
