Everyone is welcome to bring their pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns that they wish to dispose of to bowl for free, the pumpkins will later be donated to the goats at Mulligan Ranch.
Chelsie Lingenfelter, recreation director for the Town of Gull Lake, is hopeful that the weather will cooperate and noted that if all goes well, the committee may look at holding the event again next year.
"I found this idea and I thought, why not repurpose our pumpkins," she said.
Anyone who doesn't wish to participate in the bowling but would still like to get rid of their pumpkins can drop them off at Little Green on the Prairies before 5:00 p.m.
"Hopefully it's just a fun event for the community to come out to," Lingenfelter added.
Later on Friday evening, Shaunavon's Prairie Witch Creations will head to Gull Lake to pick up the pumpkins.
The event is being held in conjunction with the town's Dare To Go Bare event and the Community Bakeoff Challenge.
