Care Aide - Autumn House Independent Living Facility Inc.

Autumn House is an Independent Living Facility looking for a care aide for level 1 and 2 residents.

Care Aide Description:

This position will offer assistance to the residents daily needs while providing activities, and encouraging their independence in a home like atmosphere.
-Maintain documentation(Charts, & Notes)
-Reports, Observe(written/ or shift) and records physical and phycological  observation/changes in client/resident condition. (Ex. skin, mobility, vitals, glucose levels)
-Maintain good communication skills with client/resident and their supporter as well as their Doctor.
-Assist in daily living as per care plan( nutrition personal care, & mobility)
- Provide assistance in dressing, bathing, grooming, handing out medication, lifts/transfer.

We offer Part-Time/ Full Time Employment. We are looking for reliable and dependable applicants.  

Education that would be an asset but is not required:
First Aid, CPR, Food Handling Course, Personal Care Worker Course or equivalent (ie: Continuing Care Aid Certification) TLR, WHIMIS. On the job training will be provided if these are something that you do not have.

We require a satisfactory criminal record check prior to your first day of work.
